Energetic Empowerment

Tap your innate healing ability

We are all two-in-one: a physical body and an energy body. What happens to one affects the other. By connecting with your energy body, you can begin to improve your physical and emotional well-being.

Meditation is a wonderful way to start tuning in to your own energy. Once you begin to understand your energy body, and where it holds blockages, you can start to release those blocks and embrace wellness. Find my free guided meditations here.

To take things a step further, explore natural energy healing. Many forms exist – it’s something that has been around for thousands of years. You can find information on free distant healing here.

The Energy Body

You’re more than meets the eye! Overlaying your physical body is your energy body. This vast system has many components, but can be simplified into meridians, chakras, and the aura.

Meridians: the pathways through which energy flows. Think of them as somewhat like our blood vessels, but they deliver energy to the different areas of our body.

Aura: the energy field that is generated by a living creature. This reflects how you feel – physically, mentally, and emotionally.

Chakras: the seven main energy centers in our body. They connect the aura to the meridians.

As we go through this human life, we develop judgments and fears. This can cause the normal, healthy flow of energy in our bodies to become blocked. Such energy blockages can result in physical, mental, and emotional suffering. By tuning in to our energy flow and working to release these blocks, we have the natural ability to enhance our own well-being. Meditation and energy healing are just two of the many ways to start this process.

Many studies have shown that meditation has a beneficial effect on the body. Lower blood pressure, improved concentration, reduced anxiety, better sleep, a boosted immune system, and less sensitivity to pain have all been linked to meditative practices. Meditation has been shown to lower cortisol – or stress hormone – levels. This reduces the toll such hormones take on our bodies.

As a certified meditation and mindfulness teacher, I don’t feel that meditation means “turning off” your everyday, human thoughts. It’s more a matter of letting your thoughts pass by, and not conversing with them. As you practice meditation consistently, you begin to find that the quiet between thoughts gets longer. This allows room for inspiration from your higher self.

Guided meditation is a great way to start a meditation practice. It’s also fun for experienced meditators to mix things up with a guided meditation once in a while! Find my free guided meditations here.

Energy Healing

Natural energy healing has existed for thousands of years and is constantly evolving. By connecting to the flow of energy and channeling this into your body, a practitioner can help you begin to break up energy blockages in your system. This can help you reduce stress, enhance your ability to relax and/or meditate, and can provide insight into your own energy flow.

Reiki is one of many forms of energy healing. As a Reiki Master, I combine elements of Reiki with other energetic modalities. If you or someone you know (or even a pet) is in need of free distant energy healing, you can find more information here.
