Being Human

Quarantine has given me some surprising gifts. Among them: clarity about my mission. I’m here to be a “light anchor.” I’m a conduit for higher energies to connect with this world. As part of this mission, I’ve spent a good bit of time meditating. I consciously and intentionally fill my being with love, bliss, and gratitude. I do so to raise my own frequency and bring clarity to my “channel.”

But this doesn’t mean I shun my human side. After all, I’m here on this planet to be a human. Being human does, indeed, involve the emotions of love, bliss, and gratitude. But it also involves the “dark” feelings. Here’s what I’ve been learning: if those darker emotions rise up, pushing them back down does absolutely no good. They will simply sit inside me and fester. So instead, as they arise, I’ve been examining them. This isn’t comfortable, and may involve tears, but that’s part of the process. If needed, I seek help from others – those with whom I feel completely safe. By processing and integrating my own darkness, I become stronger. I become more complete. I become who I am meant to be.

Let it shine

I believe that there is a light inside every human. But sometimes, the darkness overtakes the light… and they lose their way.

Right now, in this moment, all humans are united in thinking about the same thing – the virus. We’re more consciously connected than ever before in human history. Now is the time to take that connected consciousness and turn it from fear to love. When we do that, the old divisions will crumble and we will step more fully into the new earth.

Ultimately, the darkness is no match for the light. So keep shining your lights, my friends. Keep pumping kindness and compassion into the world. Keep replacing fear with love. Do this not from a place of self-sacrifice, but from a place of heart-centered empowerment. In the end, goodness will prevail.

Meet Your Higher Self

My newest meditation provides an opportunity to connect face-to-face with your own higher self, the part of you that is eternal and gives guidance and insight.

You can find this meditation here or on iTunes. Wishing you serenity, my friends.

Distant Healing Sessions Now Available

After taking a year off to focus on volunteer work, I’m resuming my one-on-one Distant Energy Healing Sessions. This gives you a chance to receive a personalized glimpse into your energy flow, helping you target any areas of “stuck” energy so you can start to release them. My clients find that this helps them let go of old issues, giving a boost to their emotional and physical wellness. You can find more information here.

Refresh Your Home

I wrote this meditation last fall. At the time, it felt like a good one for spring, so I held it back rather than putting it out there right away. I had no idea that we’d be so in need of refreshing our homes right now. Funny how things fall into place.

This new meditation helps you take back your space. Clear unwanted energy from your home and fill it with love, light, and peace. You can find it here or on iTunes. Stay safe, my friends.

We’re all in this together

There’s no denying that COVID-19 is something to take seriously. But instead of letting it divide us, making us fight over toilet paper, let’s allow it to bring us together. Okay, maybe not physically together, depending on the social distancing guidelines in your area. But we can let this situation be a common ground on which we humans relate to each other with respect and compassion.

Instead of being controlled by fear and anxiety, let kindness lead the way. Be smart and stay safe, but remember to be kind.

With love,

Heather

Forgive Yourself, Free Yourself

My new meditation helps you to gently forgive yourself, releasing the past to gain freedom.

forgive yourself

This meditation borrows from the Hawaiian practice of Ho’oponopono, a forgiveness ceremony. You can find this process here or on iTunes.

Growing the Good

Our lives are full of emotions and experiences, some good and others not so good. We tend to focus on the not-so-good. We dredge up pain from the past, we fret over the future. But there’s SO MUCH GOOD in life. What if we spent more time focusing on that?

Try this. Find a place to sit quietly, close your eyes, and focus on one good thing in your life. Just one. It doesn’t have to be big; sometimes the little things are the sweetest. Really feel the goodness of that one thing. Let that good feeling sink into your bones. Let it swirl through your body. Feel it lift you up. Now, don’t you feel better?

It only takes a few minutes, but focusing on the good, giving it room to grow, can turn your day around. It might even turn your life around.

Blue Rose Meditation

blue rose

The blue rose doesn’t exist in nature, and is therefore a symbol of mystery. During this meditation, we visualize a blue rose as a way to connect with life’s mysteries… and open to answers from the universe. Before starting this process, hold one or more questions in your mind. Your question may have to do with the mysteries of life, or could be something of a more everyday nature. The choice is yours.

You can find this meditation here or on iTunes. Enjoy!
