You don’t have to be what others want/need you to be. It’s okay to release the fear of letting them down.

It’s okay to not feel okay. Discomfort points the way toward growth. It highlights issues that are ready to be addressed and released.

It’s good to know your limits and to express them with honesty and kindness.

You don’t have to maintain a constant state of busy-ness. Rest is important, too. Find the balance that works for you.

You don’t have to conform to society’s standards of youthful beauty. Allow your outside to reflect your inner beauty in whatever way feels right to you.

Eat what makes you happy. The “perfect” diet won’t make you a perfect human.

It’s okay to be imperfect. We’re here to make mistakes and learn from them.

We’re all connected. If we each give ourselves the freedom to be who we truly are, we really can change the world.

I’ve been getting so many signs of rebirth, renewal, releasing the old to make way for the new. While working in my garden (and taking the above picture), I actually stepped on a snakeskin. If that isn’t the Universe smacking me over the head with a sign of rebirth, I don’t know what is!

One thing that’s helped me with the process of releasing the old: Past Life Regression. By recognizing patterns across past (and parallel) lives, I’ve been able to start letting go of some of my outdated thought/behavior/belief patterns. With the summer solstice soon upon us, this is a wonderful time to explore and release the patterns which no longer support your journey. So I’ve decided to re-share my Past Life Exploration meditation:

Affirmation Meditation

Using positive statements in the present tense can help you create powerful change in your life. To be honest, when I first tried using affirmations, it felt awkward. But I gave the process a fair chance, and came to realize that it helped me utilize the power of the present moment to implement positive change. With repetition of affirmations, you can see your life start to align with the beautiful truth of who you really are.

In this meditation, we use a sampling of positive affirmations. Even if they don’t ring true for you at first, give them a try. Once you get used to the process, create your own affirmations, customized to your life, and use them in any way that feels right to you.

Spring Equinox Meditation

Spring Clean Your Self

Self-care is super important. With the spring equinox approaching, what better time to give your physical and energy bodies a boost? Here are a few things that work for me. Maybe you’d like to give them a try!

  1. Drink lots of water. I’m rarely without a water glass beside me. If I get caught up in life and neglect my water intake, the physical toll seems immediate. Water has so many benefits, I won’t go into it all here. If you get tired of just plain water, try muddling in some cucumber slices, fresh mint, or your fruit of choice.
  2. Eat when you’re hungry. Let your body tell you when to take in food, rather than your emotions or an arbitrary schedule. (I know this can be difficult with our overly-scheduled lives, but that’s another area to take a look at.) Small portions of fresh foods help me feel my best.
  3. Balance movement and stillness. Again, listen to your body. If it wants to move, do whatever activity you enjoy, be it yoga, hiking, dancing, or whatever! If it wants to rest, give yourself the gift of a few moments’ stillness. Finding the right balance for you is what’s important.
  4. Meditate. Much of this site is dedicated to meditation. The benefits are plentiful. Even if you start with just a few minutes a day, establishing a daily meditation practice can help you physically, mentally, and emotionally.
  5. Follow your inner guidance. As your meditation practice deepens, you’ll begin to notice guidance coming through when you meditate. Listen to it. When appropriate, act on it. Listening to your Self is one of the healthiest habits you can develop.

Cord Cutting Process

My latest guided meditation, Cord Cutting Process, is now available. It’s important to remember that cutting unhealthy cords to a person, place, or situation doesn’t necessarily mean that you cut all connection to them. This process helps to eliminate the flow of negative energy between you. It is always your choice as to whether to continue the connection in some form.

For this particular process, we call in the help of Archangel Michael, Ascended Master Saint Germain, and the Norse Goddess Freya. With the help of these light beings, this can be a very powerful cord cutting process. Even so, it may be necessary to repeat the process multiple times until the energy is completely cleared.
